We are glad to welcome on AGNOST1K one of the major artists who gave us inspiration for now more than 15 years. Maurice Pinkster alias Cubic Nomad (aka The Relic) is what we can call a true underground pioneer around the hardcore and industrial scene, since he started his career in the early nineties. There is so much to say but we want to quote the label Symp.tom records that had a major impact on our vision of hard electronic music around 2005. In 2011, M. Pinkster started a new label named Dark Descent which is still currently one the finest reference for all darkcore and industrial music lovers.
With his technoid project Cubic Nomad, he continues to explore different music territories (Trip-hop, Ambient, Downtempo) with always his unique sound signature. With his track on AGN “Modulated Signal”, he delivers to us a real industrial hypnotic techno banger that reminds us how we discover him on his first album on DD named “Light Errant”. Thanks to him for this contribution to the label and more widely for his work in our scene.
In order to complete this fine EP, we have the chance to receive another huge tune from our local brother in crime Id10-T who’s more known as Strobcore on various labels like Nekrolog1k, Industrial Strength, OtherCide, Tainted Audio. Igor C. decide to start the new promising techno-oriented project in 2019 and already sign on the legendary Planet Futur label from Marc Acardipane. With his high technical audio skills and creativity, we have no doubt to see soon this project merging around the best places. Thanks to you Bro for the collaboration!!
